Job Description
This is a temporary casual and part-time Event Assistant role.
This is for a popular music event hosted all across the UK. This job specifically is for when the event is hosted in IPSWICH, if you are willing to travel we also cover different areas.
Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Execute direction from event manager
• Set up event
• Delivering excellent customer service
• Upholding and enforcing Safety Protocols
• Managing flow of guests in and out of the building
• Validating tickets and showing customers to their seats
• Welcoming customers on arrival and thanking customers on departure
• Helping the event manager on site with any tasks they may have or delegate to you to ensure a smooth execution of the event
• Candle maintenance
• Packing up event
• Working as part of a team helping one another to execute a great event.
• Delivering the opening and closing remarks at each performance
• Acting as a Brand Ambassador
Preferred skills and attributes are:
• Keen interest in working in live events (preferred)
• Interest and passion in live music and delivering events (preferred)
• Sound engineering skills (desirable)
• Public speaking (desirable)
• Exceptional customer service (required)
• Confidence working in a team and individually (required)
• Assertive and measured in a high pressure environment (required)
• Strong problem solving skills (desirable)
• Can do attitude (required)
• Takes direction well (required)
• Flexible (required)
• Leading by example (required)
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm
Salary: £12.00 per hour
Schedule:
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Mostly Weekend shifts
