Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

MLK Search is supporting a unique, high-achieving, 'Outstanding' group of Independent therapeutic Schools to recruit positive, committed, and confident teachers for their team in Lambeth, London.

Each school caters for children and young people with Adverse Childhood Experiences so will require someone who is confident in this environment.

There are opportunities for Core Subject, Art, DT and PE specialists for all age ranges as the school's continue to grow in line with ongoing intake throughout the year. Ideally you'll have experience of teaching in a specialist setting with children and young people with SEMH needs.

Teachers are at the core of leading the schools’ child-centered ethos and reflect their values and expectations. You will therefore be responsible for the highest standards of quality of education and behaviour management for children who have significant SEMH as well as other associated needs.

Essential and Desirable Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status in the UK
• Successful experience in delivering the National Curriculum; preferably within a similar setting
• Further training or qualifications related to SEMH/SEN would be highly desirable
• Passion and enthusiasm for supporting students with barriers to learning
