Job Description
We are seeking a talented and professional sales person to play a key part in the continued growth of our internet sales division.
The hours of work are 8:30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday and working every other weekend (with a day off in the week when a weekend is worked), weekend hours being 8:30am to 5pm Saturday and 10am to 4pm Sundays.
Excellent package and benefits with an OTE of £36,000.
This is an exciting opportunity to get in near the start of a rapidly expanding department in a growth area of vehicle sales.
You will take enquiries generated by our strategic partners and convert these to sales using your strongly developed relationship building and negotiation skills, whilst delivering outstanding customer service.
Working in a targeted environment, you will:
• Work with multiple enquiries communicating with customers by telephone and email.
• Prepare specifications and quotes using defined discount structures.
• Prepare and explain finance quotes and products using pre-determined rates and terms, in a compliant way which follows the ethos of “Treating Customers Fairly”.
• Maintain and update the customer database with all activity.
• Negotiate to a sale, including dealing with potential part exchanges.
• Verify stock availability and offer readily available alternatives to your customers where applicable.
• Provide regular updates to customer on vehicle progress.
• Provide support to colleagues and management within the scope of day to day operations, both in relationship to customers contact and internal systems and processes.
• Maintain positive relationships with our preferred partners, whilst seeking out opportunities to develop new partnerships.
• Make prospecting calls to our existing customers, and manage enquiries generated from our marketing campaigns.
• You will build trust, communicate effectively and exceed our customer’s expectations, whilst providing a service-based experience. In essence you will ensure that our customers buying experience is industry leading.
The Person:
• Previous experience of working in a sales environment is considered essential.
• Able to demonstrate a track record of achievement in both sales and customer service.
• Is able to follow a compliant sales process, and can communicate over the telephone and via email in a professional manner.
• Is able to engage customers and build relationships.
• Has a genuine interest and passion for the motor industry, keeping abreast of developments.
• Is numerate and analytical with strong attention to detail and possesses intermediate IT skills.
• Is able to take complex issues and present in an easy to understand way.
• Embraces new ideas and thinking; eager to learn and develop their self.
