About Us:

Crowne Plaza London Kings Cross, a deluxe 4-star hotel located in a prime area, is seeking a passionate and experienced Training Manager to join our team. Position:L&D Manager

20 hours/ week

As a L&D Training Manager, you will play a crucial role in our hotel in supporting departments in developing cutting-edge functional excellence and leadership capabilities. You will act as a change catalyst in the cultural and organizational transformation of the hotel, providing key input for all training-related activities and plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support departments in developing cutting-edge functional excellence and enhancing leadership capabilities.
  • Act as a change catalyst in the cultural and organizational transformation of the hotel.
  • Provide key input on training aspects for all activities and plans of the hotel.
  • Support individual and team development, career development, and training and experience-based learning.
  • Induct, coach, and mentor new team members to ensure a smooth integration into the hotel.
  • Interact with hotel HOD-s responsible for people development on a daily basis to provide support to operational departments.
  • Partner with departments to deliver training programs and other organizational and leadership development interventions.
  • Monitor and conduct learning and development reviews with each department.
  • Prepare annual training plans and training calendars for the hotel.

Qualities We Are Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and develop team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to act as a change catalyst and drive cultural and organizational transformation.
  • A genuine passion for people development and a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning.
