Looking for a SCIENCE TEACHER job?
Dovetail&Slate are working with a secondary school who are looking for a passionate science teacher to join their fantastic school. This is an exciting opportunity to teach science to up to GCSE level in a way that sparks curiosity and engagement, that's in a positive learning environment.
What you'll be doing:
Committed to building and sustaining relationships with a diverse group of students
Committed to the highest achievement for all students
Keen to share and learn best practises as part of a vibrant team, and contribute to curriculum development, resources and development
Monitor and support the development of all students
Establish a positive learning environment which supports students to achieve their full academic potentialShould demonstrate good knowledge of:
The teaching subject
Principles and practises of effective teaching and learning
Principles and pracise of monitoring, assessment and evaluation
Preparation and development of schemes of work and resources to enhance the curriculumWhat you'll need:
A full right to work in the UK
A good understanding of the KS3 and GCSE science curriculum
A passion for teaching science that will engage students
A teaching qualification - ideally a PGCE or QTSInterested?:
