Job Description

Mid/Senior .NET Engineer - 2 days a week onsite in Chester - £60,000 - 25 days holiday + 8 days bank holiday, pension scheme, ongoing personal development opportunities, career progression, high street vouchers, discounts at restaurants and supermarkets

You will be working on a multitude of the business' key core products including a platform and web application.
The opportunity to keep up to date with the latest technologies and trends in the market - assessing them in line with the teams' overall products. You will have an impact and voice with regards to the future technical direction of the products!
Work within a collaborative team - be involved with workshops trialling new tech and ensure the business stays at the forefront of innovation.The Role

We have partnered with a company who after continued growth throughout 2024 have decided to hire two more Mid/Senior .NET Engineers - these roles will suit established Senior .NET Engineers or Mid Level Engineers looking to take a step up into their first Senior role! Regardless of your level, you will be well supported working in a collaborative environment and challenged professionally on a daily basis.

You'll be joining an established large technical team of over 100 IT professionals, including full-stack developers, testers, QA and product professionals, and will have the opportunity to work on a variety of web-based software solutions. You will work across the full software stack within the latest technologies, in an AGILE way of working within SCRUM teams. Ideally, you will have full knowledge of the full SDLC. A large focus for the business recently has been Azure - ideally, you will have experience with Microsoft Azure, Terraform and Azure DevOps ideally in a cloud environment.

You will utilise your skills to design, build and maintain scalable, reliable and secure web-based solutions and software applications. You will have a thirst for knowledge and be keen to keep up to date with the latest technologies and trends in the market, contribute new ideas to the business and have a voice in the way things are done within an established team.

As a mid-level developer, you will have excellent mentorship and support from some of the best seniors within the industry - whereas if you join as a more senior member, you will have the opportunity to coach and mentor the more junior developers. You will be able to communicate technical issues to both non-technical and technical people.

Technical stack:

ASP.Net, C#
SQL Server, NoSQL, MongoDB
Azure and Terraform (DevOps desirable)
