Job Title: Marketing & Internal Communications Manager
Location: Petersfield, Hampshire.
Salary: Competitive
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, to be worked Monday - Friday, 9:00 – 5:00pm with 1hr unpaid break each day.

COOMBES is a leading Arboriculture and Forestry Contractor, with over 20 years of experience and expertise in the forestry sector. We have forged a strong industry reputation and we believe we have an unrivalled skill set and peerless knowledge of forestry work at all levels.
We also play a key role within the Rail industry, providing a whole manner of off-track solutions, and minor civils works, in partnership with Network Rail and other major contractors.
COOMBES has seen recent significant growth and we currently have some exciting projects underway in woodland management, timber harvesting, rail and civils works across the country. We are seeking skilled and experienced colleagues in a range of disciplines to support our growth and help us provide a service that is second to none.

About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketeer to oversee and develop the marketing and communication functions at COOMBES. As Marketing and Internal Communications Manager, you will use your skills, experience and insight to deliver effective campaigns that support business objectives, development and success.
Working with business leaders, you’ll play a key role in business development. You’ll be a confident communicator, able to build and maintain productive industry relationships with our stakeholder partners. You’ll take the lead in the delivery of trade shows, exhibits and other industry events, as well as providing support in the preparation of tenders and contract bids and hands-on assistance with the planning and delivery of business-critical presentations.
You’ll ensure that the COOMBES brand and messaging is promoted consistently across all platforms. Using your creative flair, you’ll develop engaging copy and visuals for use in a range of external printed communications, online content, promotional materials and merchandise.
As a skilled digital marketeer, you’ll have the technical know-how to be able to maintain and develop our website and social media activity to showcase COOMBES and celebrate company and colleague success. By monitoring and reporting on usage, data and metrics you’ll be able to enhance online activities and capitalize on current trends and threads.
At COOMBES, we work with a fantastic bunch of people and you’ll work with our HR team to develop an internal communications strategy to enhance their employee experience and engagement. Using a range of internal communications, presentations and events you’ll help to foster a collaborative, positive workplace culture where company, team and personal successes are celebrated.
