Domestic & Commercial Gas Engineer
£50,000 per year

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team based in Stratford, London. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial gas appliances and systems located around London and the surrounding counties. This role requires a strong understanding of legislation and regulations and the ability to identify, quote for and carry out repairs and installations.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation:
Install, commission, and test new gas appliances and systems, including boilers, cookers, and heating systems.
Ensure compliance with all relevant gas safety regulations and building codes.
Maintenance:
Carry out routine maintenance and servicing of gas appliances and systems.
Identify and rectify potential issues to prevent breakdowns.
Repair:
Diagnose and repair faults in gas appliances and systems.
Respond promptly to emergency call-outs.
Compliance:
Adhere to all relevant gas safety regulations, including the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all work carried out.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service to clients, ensuring their satisfaction.
Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Gas Safe Registered: Essential
Relevant qualifications in commercial gas engineering: Essential
CORT1 Overhead Radiant Heaters CKR1 Cookers HTR1 Fires & Wall Heaters: Preferred
Proven experience in commercial gas installations, maintenance, and repairs: Essential
Strong understanding of gas safety regulations and building codes: Essential
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills: Essential
Ability to work independently and as part of a team: Essential
Valid driving license: Essential
