The marketing team at Bush & Co is small but mighty and we’re regularly managing the development of lots of things behind the scenes to prepare for exciting campaigns and important events. For that reason, you’ll be someone who has mastered the art of organisation but also see the big picture – no stone is left unturned when it comes to designing, planning and implementing. You’ll be inquisitive and have ‘fire in your belly’ to do a great job
The role involves:
Conferences, events and hospitality
The marketing team manages a busy conference and events calendar which is integral to our marketing strategy and supportive of the business development activity across the company. Within the role you will lead on the management of our conference and events calendar which includes a whole host of tasks including event booking, delegate liaison, ordering material, packing for events and making sure we’re where we need to be. As and when required you may also be a face of Bush & Co on our exhibition stands to support the Business Development team.
Throughout the year we also host our own events and at Bush & Co we have a ‘roll your sleeves up’ approach. You’ll play a key role in event administration and will work alongside the team to put on enjoyable, informative and engaging events we’re known for.
Social Media
Our X and LinkedIn accounts give us a way to stay front of mind with key customers and create online relationships. You will be responsible for scheduling posts, connecting with key targets and responding to comments and messages; representing the Bush & Co brand.
Staff and Associate Engagement
Staff engagement and morale is really important at Bush & Co and behind the scenes you’ll be responsible for administering important staff initiatives such as ‘Huggs’ (our on the spot recognition scheme) and length of service awards as well as playing a key role in internal events and staff initiatives. Our associates are a key stakeholder and their engagement is just as important as staff. You will support in generating feedback, managing our satisfaction surveys and helping out with communications as and when required.
Customer Account Management
Bush & Co boasts hundreds of strong customer relationships. You will use the data we acquire through PowerBI to carry out key customer relationship and marketing tasks such new referrer insight on behalf of the Business Development team, updating the CRM (Hubspot) to ensure our data is accurate which is then used to inform marketing and business development activity and managing our LiveChat conversations.
Marketing Administration
With lots of marketing activity comes certain administrative tasks on an ad hoc basis. One day you may be supporting to plan and deliver a happy post campaign and the next doing key competitor research. No day is ever the same!
But you won’t do that alone. Being part of the Bush & Co marketing team and working closely with our Business Development team means you’ll work alongside like-minded people who really enjoy doing things to make others happy! As a team we’re open and caring and are often a listening ear or the go to people for many things important to people.
You won’t necessarily be someone who has worked in marketing before but we will need someone who appreciates the responsibilities of marketing and enjoys being behind the scenes. Maybe you’ve worked in events or another role where you’ve worked alongside marketing. You may have been in a role where you’ve had to manage lots of tasks to get to an end result and can show how you have kept all of that on track.
