Opportunity:
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for their first taste of working with National Accounts within a Head Office environment.
Working closely with Senior National Account Manager to develop long-term growth business plans for specific accounts. This is an opportunity to work with distributors including Matthew Clark, Molson Coors, and Carlsberg Marston as well as managing Pubs & Restaurants.
You will:
- Cross functional working to deliver robust plans by customer.
- Support the ongoing planning and management of promotions throughout the trading year providing supporting analysis where required – aligning to key events and ATL (Above the Line) marketing campaigns.
- Network all personnel in key accounts to develop & identify sales opportunities.
- Attend monthly account review meetings as part of the internal Business Planning Cycle.
- Prepare for and attend customer facing meetings as required.
- Input and present at quarterly internal business reviews (ICP – Integrated Commercial Planning).
- Support the allocations, distribution and sales of the fine wine portfolio.
- Attend and manage customer roadshows and wine tastings.
- Support staff training events.
- Outlet visits to monitor implementation of activity.

We would consider a wide range of candidates – including graduates straight out of university, people from a Retail background either in-store or at Head Office level, or people looking to move on from an FMCG Field Sales background.
The desired skills and qualifications that we are looking for are:
- A passion for the FMCG Food & Drink sector.
- Someone who is customer-focused and has a desire to build a career in sales.
- Ideally, someone who has previously worked within an FMCG environment – either from a Graduate Scheme at Head Office level or in the field.
- We would also consider people who have graduated from University with a relevant degree to the sector and are looking for their first Head Office role.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels.
- A real numbers person with strong attention to detail and commercial acumen.
- Can deal with ambiguity in a high-pressure entrepreneurial environment.
- Enjoy working within a fast-paced, highly visible environment.
- Above all else, someone with the appetite for a challenge, with a hardworking, tenacious attitude, ability to prioritise, and the passion, drive, and desire to win!
