Apprenticeship Learning Support Assistant - Part Time, Term Time
19.5 hours per week, 37 weeks per annum £10,032
Burton on Trent, Town Centre Campus
Who are we looking for?
Are you a positive, patient and hardworking team player with excellent communication skills and an adaptable and professional attitude? We are looking for someone to join our ALS team to support EHCP learners and other supported learners across several Apprenticeship programmes in the development of study skills and promoting independence to help ensure maximum learner achievement.
Patience, enthusiasm and a good sense of humour are highly desirable attributes for this role.
An employer background would be advantageous. The needs of the areas and amount of Apprentices fluctuates constantly so flexibility is essential.
Your hours will be spread across 3 days (9.00 – 4.30). These are currently planned to be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, however one of these days may change to be a Monday if we gain several supported Apprentices in Hairdressing.
Apprenticeship areas each day:
Tuesday – Teacher Training/Catering
Wednesday – Motor Vehicle
Thursday – Engineering/Business
Applicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths. Evidence of qualifications is required.
