About the service: We are delighted to be recruiting for an Orthopaedic Lead Theatre Nurse / ODP to join the theatre team at our highly reputable private healthcare provider in their bright and vibrant private hospital in Colchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Orthopaedic Lead Theatre Nurse / ODP to be part of an exciting growing service that take pride in developing their staff. The role will be working within a modern hospital with state-of-the-art facilities. The team are passionate about providing high quality person centred care and are looking for a like- minded Orthopaedic Lead Theatre Nurse / ODP to join lead and motivate the team.
About the role:
You will be working as a Orthopaedic Lead Theatre Nurse / ODP and will be responsible for:
Perform scrub role in consultant lead surgeries
Work across a variety of surgeries that range in complexity and specialisms
Lead the team and provide training and support
Focus on Orthopaedic Surgery
Who we're looking for;
Be NMC / HCPC registered - your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
Eligibility to live and work in the UK
At least 2 years experience in Orthopaedic Scrub in the UK
Previous experience within a leadership / managerial role in a similar setting
Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) desirable
Willingness to learn and grow in the role

Person Specification: All applicants for the role of Orthopaedic Lead Theatre Nurse / ODP must have a valid NMC / HCPC Registration with no restrictions and full eligibility to live and work in the UK. At least 2 years UK managerial experience in orthopaedic scrub is essential for this position.
