Job Description
A great, long term opportunity exists for competent Site Agents who are experienced in taking a large rail project from preconstruction to hand-over.
Experience in the various GRIP phases to the delivery of bridges, earthworks, drainage, station upgrades and embankment stabilisations on major joint venture projects is advantageous.
This position falls inside IR35
Duties include –
Managing overall responsibility for delivery of sections of work safely and to time and budget.
Creating and implementing WPP, TBS, risk assessments and site permits
Monitoring and reporting on costs and progress
Producing the quality documentation and manage all risks.
Management of subcontractors
Attending Network Rail and site meetings
Ensuring and implementing health and safety
Requirements for this position include –
Extensive experience on rail projects working for a principal Contractor delivering value add projects would be advantageous. Previous similar work outside of the rail sector but within the UK would also be considered.
Preferably a civil engineering qualification
Demonstrable civil engineering construction ability and know-how in a similar position
Commercially aware
Excellent motivational and communication skills
PTS or prepared to obtain a PTS
First Aid
TWC, AP accreditation would be beneficial
