Contracts Manager Milan and Lakes (Maternity Cover) 16 October, 2024 Commercial Full time Hybrid What you will do on your journey with WebBeds. As a Contracts Manager for Italy, covering Milan, the Lakes, and Northwest Italy, you will play a vital role in expanding WebBeds' portfolio by building and strengthening relationships with key hotel partners. You’ll negotiate competitive rates, secure exclusive offers, and drive revenue for these regions while maintaining high product standards. This maternity cover role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to WebBeds’ growth in Italy and is well-suited for a passionate, proactive professional who excels in contract negotiations and supplier management. In this role you will: As a Contracts Manager, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and growing WebBeds’ hotel portfolio in Milan, the Lakes, and Northwest Italy. You’ll consult with the Director of Contracting on product requirements, negotiate advantageous terms, and drive booking volumes through strategic contract management. You will work closely with suppliers, conduct regular visits to build relationships, and monitor performance metrics to maximize revenue opportunities. In addition, you’ll ensure that all contract details are accurate and up-to-date, supporting WebBeds’ goals with high-quality, competitive offerings. Key Responsibilities Negotiate rates, allocations, and exclusive deals with hotel partners, ensuring WebBeds has the most competitive rates available in Milan, the Lakes, and Northwest Italy. Consult with the Director of Contracting to align on product strategies and add new hotels to the portfolio as needed. Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities, adjusting the WebBeds product mix to align with destination trends. Ensure re-contracting is completed on schedule, with all hotels set up for sale and current on WebBeds’ platform. Visit hotels regularly to maintain quality standards, update product details, and foster strong supplier relationships. Monitor competitor pricing and performance, staying ahead of market shifts and adapting strategies to remain competitive. Work with hotel partners to resolve service level or standard-related issues and ensure quality assurance checks are completed. Provide suppliers with extranet support and training, ensuring they have the resources to manage bookings efficiently. Collaborate with Health and Safety teams to keep up-to-date compliance reports for all properties. Act as the primary liaison between WebBeds and hotel partners for contract management, addressing closeout requests, bookings, and other operational queries. The skills we would love to see in your suitcase Qualifications and Knowledge: Proven contracting experience within the tourism industry, particularly with Italian hotel suppliers. Negotiation & Relationship Building: Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain trustworthy partnerships. Stakeholder Management: Effective in managing internal and external stakeholders, with strong professional presence. Detail-oriented with high accuracy in contract management. Strong commercial awareness, problem-solving abilities, and a creative approach to opportunities. Fluent in English and Italian, with excellent communication skills in both. Ability to thrive under pressure, adhering to tight deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required. J-18808-Ljbffr
