JLL’s Energy & Infrastructure Advisory (E&IA) team are looking for Analyst, Energy & Infrastructure Advisory - Intern candidates to join their Renewable Energy team in Milano. The E&IA team are market leaders in providing specialist transactional and financial advisory services to developers of and investors in renewable energy assets across a range of technologies including solar PV, wind, bioenergy, energy storage and others in European countries. The team’s expertise includes: M&A: disposal and acquisition of renewable energy assets (projects, portfolios or platforms) Equity capital raising for seed, development risk and construction capital Debt capital raising for senior, junior, mezzanine and HoldCo debt PPA advisory to help generators and consumers to secure long-term power purchase contracts Strategic consulting covering commercial, financial, strategic advice on renewables Valuations and project appraisals including financial modelling, due diligence and valuations What This Job Involves Responsibilities include: Preparation of teasers / pitch books and/or other marketing documents to pitch new operations. Preparation of transaction documentation (due diligence materials, information memorandum, evaluation documents, management presentations, etc.) for various stakeholders. Analysis of financial statements and identification of historical trends and key KPIs for the purpose of drafting the valuation document. Creation, adaptation and management of complex and flexible financial models, under the supervision of the senior team members, that meet project needs (e.g., acquisition structure, merger models, project financing models, LBO models, etc.). The financial models to be managed will be developed internally from scratch and/or sourced from third parties. Identification and measurement of key investment drivers to perform sensitivity analysis for analytical evaluation of the project. Assistance in coordination and execution of due diligence and participation, with senior team members, in meetings with clients and counterparties. General market research and statistical analysis.
