Job Description

We're looking for a Field Application Specialist (FAS) in the Italy North region to help us boost the company to the next level. We want you to be tenacious and results-oriented. As an expert professional in your area, you lead after-sales activities and provide application support for Sysmex’s diagnostic portfolio. Field Application Specialist - North (f/m/x) In this role you will: Provide added value Promote Sysmex Portfolio and Services together with Account Managers; Be part of the Account Team and participate in the definition and execution of the Account Plan; Participate in tender preparation and documentation; Maintain theoretical and practical knowledge of Sysmex’s diagnostic portfolio across a variety of specialty applications; Provide high-quality sales support, engaging with customers to provide technical discussions, seminars, and roundtables; Apply consultative selling leveraging scientific and technical knowledge; Be able to take advantage of time in the laboratory to speak the same language as the medical and technical staff; Act as a consultant to identify the best operational workflow and lab organization, supporting the change management of the customers; Provide information to the sales department about users' habits, needs, or recommendations; Co-design the best solutions to satisfy the specific customer’s needs and workflow; Gather competitive information, understand user sensitivity, and report to marketing and sales; Drive implementation of Sysmex solutions, including instrument configuration, validation, and end-user training; Lead post-sales support to the customer to aid in establishing new parameters or reviewing operational workflow; Organize and participate in local events based on Sysmex laboratory technology and diagnostic value; Plan and execute demonstrations of Sysmex solutions, assuring follow-up and monitoring of the return on investment; Provide support to customers on any application and QC-related topics; Plan proactive activities and regular visits to key customers; Report field activities and opportunity-related tasks; Organize regular meetings with key end-users to highlight the value of Sysmex solutions; Ensure that all customer-related records are up-to-date; Accurately record service activities on Sysmex CRM; Team up with other field support functions and the marketing department; This role requires the employee to be able to perform any activity in the clinical laboratories and departments. Job requirements University Degree in biology or medical fields (PhD is a plus) Proficient with Office (PowerPoint and Excel) General professional experience: Technical knowledge of the medical industry Hands-on experience in clinical laboratory procedures Ability to positively influence others Sales acumen and high communication skills Understanding of tender procedures and requirements Professional experience for the position: 4 - 6 years of experience in the IVD Market, either in sales or application roles; Experience with at least one of the following: hematology, urinalysis, or hemostasis instruments What's in it for you?
