We are looking for an experienced Director of Restaurant Operations to take on a critical leadership role, based in Halifax, overseeing the day-to-day and strategic operations of 4 diverse restaurant concepts. This role is essential to ensure that brand values, policies, and standards are upheld across each unique dining experience, from casual to high-end establishments. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, fostering a customer-focused culture, and supporting the development of teams to deliver outstanding service and hospitality. The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic planning, financial acumen, and a passion for building and mentoring teams, enabling a seamless and profitable dining experience across all locations. This position is ideal for a hospitality leader with a proven track record in multi-unit management and a desire to make a substantial impact on the restaurant scene in Halifax and beyond. The Director of Restaurant Operations will play a key role in elevating service standards, maximizing profitability, and building a culture of continuous improvement and dedication to guest satisfaction. Description Leadership: Plan, evaluate, and monitor operations across multiple locations to optimize sales and profitability, ensuring that guest experiences consistently reflect the highest standards. Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, analyze financial performance, and implement strategies to enhance revenue, control expenses, and achieve profitability goals. Team Development: Lead and mentor restaurant managers and teams, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Support the recruitment, training, and performance management of all team members to ensure alignment with brand values and service expectations. Standards Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to operational policies, procedures, and quality standards across a range of dining concepts, ensuring excellence from casual dining to fine dining experiences. Guest Experience: Build and nurture a culture of hospitality by emphasizing exceptional client service, responding to guest feedback, and maintaining high standards for all guest interactions. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operational goals with marketing initiatives, strategic growth plans, and brand vision. Requirements Experience: Demonstrated success in managing multi-unit restaurant operations, with experience across varied service levels (casual to high-end dining) preferred.
