Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Hotel Receptionist to join our team at Montogo Resorts Somerset at Charlton House. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive guest experience from check-in to check-out.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and professional manner.
  • Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Answer phones and emails to address guest inquiries, reservations, and requests.
  • Handle bookings and reservations, ensuring accurate data entry and availability management.
  • Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and assist with guest needs.
  • Handle payment transactions, including cash, credit card, and invoicing.
  • Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready for guests.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Hotel Receptionist or in a similar customer service role.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency in hotel management softwareand MS Office Suite.
  • Fluent in Englishadditional language skills are a plus.
  • Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
