He whakamārama mō Tui Ora | About us
We do health differently at Tui Ora. As a holistic kaupapa Māori (Māori approach) primary care organisation which has been serving the Taranaki community for more than 25 years, we provide a wide range of health and social wellbeing services for our whānau (families).
We follow a proven Māori model of care that puts whānau at the centre, empowering them to set their own life goals and create a pathway to reaching them. Our experienced and multi-disciplinary teams walk beside them every step of the way.
Our services include two GP practices across two locations in New Plymouth and Whaitara, a community nursing team made up of long-term health, diabetes, cancer, child and respiratory specialists, mental health and addiction services, social service navigator support, alcohol and drug recovery, and youth services to help whānau address life issues that may impact their overall health and wellbeing.
Our mahi (work) is challenging, fulfilling and can be life changing.
As an organisation, we want our kaimahi (employees) to be at their best. This means we look after you and put your health and wellbeing first. If you’re keen to work in a fun working environment where your professional growth and development means you are supported to be the best you can be, Tui Ora is the place for you.
