PAT TESTER
Full time – Monday to Friday 45 hours (weekend availability)

One of the UK’s leading providers of electrical safety services, specifically inspection and testing of fixed installations. Demand for our Electrical Equipment Testing (EET) (Formerly PATs) services is high, so we are continually looking to expand our national team of Engineers.

Industry Authority – authors of practical guidance to assist Duty Holders on meeting the demands of EaWR1989

Inspection & testing work carried out in pairs

Blue Chip Client base – Industrial, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Aerospace, Food & Drink, Sports & Leisure, Education. No High St retail or domestic
JOB PURPOSE
The role will require you to safely carry out inspection and testing of electrical equipment and produce results/reports that meet the requirements of the current edition of the IET Code of Practice, clients, and external accrediting bodies.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Carry out In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (EET) in accordance with the current edition of the IET Code of Practice
Produce results which meet the requirements and quality standards of clients and external accrediting bodies
Adhere to Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures at all times
Act with integrity and professionalism in all communications with clients and colleagues
Keep abreast of changes and amendments to standards, regulations and best practices within the industry
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
City & Guilds 2377
Full UK Driving Licence
Relevant computer literacy to enable generation and electronic submission of results
Strong verbal communication skills
Basic numeracy and literacy skills
Flexibility and good personal organisation
SALARY/BENEFITS
£26,400 – (OTE) £39,000 per year (includes bonus)
30 paid holidays plus including B/H's (8 Days)
Company Van
Paid door to door
Paid 12 hours for each day staying away
Hotel and food allowance provided when staying away
