We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Reception Manager to join our team.
The Assistant Reception Manager will support the Reception Manager, lead and support the Front Desk Agents, ensuring all SOPs and daily tasks are covered, and all guest enquiries are dealt in a professional and timely manner.

Main Duties of Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the daily running of the Reception team; Supervisors, Receptionists
- Ensure hotel Lobby is manned at all times, guests are acknowledged and greeted with the smile and eye contact
- Ensure that all guests enquiries, requests, and complaints dealt in an efficient and professional manner
- Assist Supervisors in effective management of their tasks
- Coordinate implantation of new procedures
- Assist FOM/AFOM to ensure that Reception team members are developing according to their Learning and Development plans by supporting them in their training and tasks
- Manage and assist the team with incoming telephone calls. Monitor the quality of the telephone interactions to ensure a high standard of service
- Ensure a consistency in service between Day and Night shifts through efficient handovers and open channels of communications with fellow managers and when required assist the Night team by covering Night Manager role
- Ensure that all accounts postings and daily allowances are correctly posted and ensure the correct procedure is followed and any training needs are addressed
Requirements:
- Experience with Opera PMS.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under deadline pressure
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
