Job Description
Salary: 28K plus bonus, other perks are tips and 40% off food and drink.
The role of the Restaurant Manager is to be ultimately responsible for the entire operation of their site, in accordance with company standards.
The Restaurant Manager effectively manages, develops and delegates to their Bar Managers, Head Chef & Sous Chefs, Supervisors and all key staff. Managing hands on the day to day running of the business. Motivating the staff and taking care of the customers experience.
The Restaurant Manager reports to, and works with, the Operations Manager to maintain, drive and develop the principles and values of the company in all areas including, but not limited to, the following:
- Pro-active towards promotions and sales and up selling
- Leading by example in all areas of product knowledge, consistency and pride in standards, timings, presentation and quality service standards
- Effective communication and delegation to all members of the management team
- Ensuring department managers are fully effective and productive
- Cost of Sales analysis
- Working towards growth targets for the business
- Staffing & rota planning
- Stock take management
- Profit and Loss management
- Licensing, Employment, CCTV, Fire and Health & Safety legal compliance
- Supervision of Head Chefs kitchen cleanliness, Food Safety and Food Hygiene
