About the employer:
This recently refurbished, upscale hotel is ideally situated right on the seafront in Brighton. A global brand and managed by a highly sought-after hotel management company, this Sales Manager role will drive local Corporate, MICE, Leisure, Entertainment, Groups and F&B business into this exciting property. The Sales Manager will also manage relationships with the brand global sales teams and key accounts. An understanding of the Brighton area and the seasonality of business is required. The hotel boasts over 110 stylish bedrooms with a casual dining restaurant and stylish, contemporary bar.
About the role
- The Sales Manager will drive sales from multiple market segments across the local Brighton market and wider South Coast market.
- Develop relationships with key clients and agents.
- Regular face-to-face appointments per week to source new business.
- Proactively market the hotel through website content updates, social media marketing and marketing promotions and activity in the community.
- Work closely with the GM, Regional DOS and brand sales teams.
- Hold site visits and client entertainment as required.
- Produce sales and marketing activity reports as required.

What we are looking for
- Hotel Sales experience is essential.
- Current experience within the Brighton market is highly desirable.
- A proactive approach to sales and marketing is required.
- A proven track record of successful business development and account management is essential.
- A self-motivated, driven, results-orientated and proactive attitude is required.
- Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- A full and clean driving licence would be beneficial.
Salary and package:
Up to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus bonus and benefits.
