Location: Ipswich Area, Ipswich, Suffolk
Salary: £55,000 per year (depending on experience)
Job Type: Permanent, Salaried

About the Role:
Our client is expanding and investing in exceptional Care Home Registered Managers for their nursing/residential homes in Ipswich and the surrounding areas.
As a Care Home Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the home. The ideal candidate will be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and have a strong understanding of all relevant legislation and regulations. Your role will involve ensuring high-quality care for residents while achieving financial targets and maintaining full occupancy.
You will be supported by external Operations and Central teams, and internally by a Deputy Manager, Administrator, Hospitality, and Housekeeping teams to ensure smooth operations and outstanding care for residents.
Reports to: Operations Manager
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and guidance to the staff team, fostering a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy.
Recruit, train, and retain a skilled team dedicated to delivering person-centred care.
Ensure the home meets CQC standards and other regulatory requirements, maintaining high standards of care.
Manage the home’s budget, meet financial targets, and control costs.
Develop a marketing strategy to maintain full occupancy and promote the home’s services.
Build positive relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders, addressing their needs and concerns.
Oversee administrative tasks, ensuring timely and efficient completion of records.
Monitor and evaluate the home’s performance, implementing improvements where necessary.
Manage risks and ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.Skills and Attributes:
Proven experience managing a nursing/residential home.
Strong knowledge of CQC standards with a record of achieving or working towards Outstanding ratings.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external professionals, families, and visitors.
Demonstrated success in marketing and running a commercially successful care home in the private sector.
Passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
Ability to contribute to the growth and development of the care service.Benefits:
