Activities Co-Ordinator

Location: SUNBURY ON THAMES

Salary: £20,878.06 per annum, pro rata

Hours: 24 per week

Closing Date: 3rd November 2024

The role

We are currently looking to recruit an Activities Coordinator.

Within the role the successful candidate will provide and co-ordinate activities of a social and enabling nature for residents living in our Extra Care Courts. You will provide assistance, support and encouragement to residents living at the Court, through the provision of a varied programme of activities, while you also review and monitor the service, encouraging user participation and feedback. What we’re looking for

The essential requirements for the role include:

· Experience of working with older people and people with disabilities

· Awareness of the needs of older people

· NVQ in health/care (desirable)

· First aid (desirable)

· Basic hygiene (desirable)

· Moving and handling (desirable)

· Prepared to undertake further training where appropriate
