As part of our 2024 expansion, we're on the lookout for a motivated, results-driven Senior Recruiter to join our Reading team and help us continue our success story.
The Role
As a Senior Recruiter, you’ll be passionate about connecting with top talent and meeting our clients' needs. You’ll manage both temporary and permanent placements, develop our staff, and build our brand. If you’re proactive, customer-focused, and an excellent communicator, we’d love to have you on board.
Our Reading branch, which opened in 2023, is now busier than ever and we need someone to help build on this success. This role offers a clear, fully mapped-out path to becoming the Branch Manager, starting with gaining your REC qualifications and progressing through structured development and training within Aligra.

Key Responsibilities
* Client Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with new and existing clients, through various sales techniques, understanding their hiring needs, and creating comprehensive recruitment campaigns.
* Business Development: identify new business opportunities, build client relationships, and develop strategic plans to achieve sales targets, collaborating with marketing and sales teams to drive growth.
* Candidate Discovery: Identify and attract potential candidates through various channels, screening thorough interviews and assessments.
* Recruitment Process: Manage the end-to-end temporary and permanent recruitment processes from advertising to placing candidate in suitable roles. Ensuring compliance throughout.
* Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends and contribute to developing effective recruitment strategies.
* Targets and Reporting: Meet and exceed individual and team targets, maintain accurate records in our recruitment software.
Qualifications and Experience
* Essential: Previous experience in recruitment or a similar sales environment.
* Desirable: Experience recruiting for warehouse and driving roles.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proactive, results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets.
* Familiarity with job boards and recruitment software is a plus.
* Interest in staying updated on industry trends and market dynamics.
