Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer (Service and Maintenance) – Are you ready to be part of a team that sets the standard for excellence in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry? If so, Sapphire Cooling Services are looking for an experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineers (Service and Maintenance) to cover the Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk.

Competitive Salary: On offer is a rate of pay £18 - £19 p/h (£37,960 - £40,040 per annum) depending on experience with our average engineer taking home approx. £47,000 including overtime
Overtime opportunities: Non – compulsory overtime available, paid time and a half, and double time for weekend work.
Holiday: 20 days holiday, that increases with your length of service

About the role:
As a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer at Sapphire Cooling Services, you will be a crucial member of our field-based team, ensuring our clients' systems operate efficiently across Norfolk, Suffolk, and Essex. Utilising your skills and our comprehensive training, you’ll work on both commercial and domestic sites, maintaining our reputation as trusted experts.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Delivering outstanding service that ensures customer satisfaction and enhances our reputation
Performing proactive and reactive maintenance on air conditioning and refrigeration units
Managing servicing of split systems, VRVs, and VRFs
Maintaining thorough documentation of all service activities
Collaborating with the team and communicating issues to management as required
About you:
You are a skilled engineer with a valid UK Driving Licence. You've got F-gas 2079 Cat 1 and ideally NVQ Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning qualifications under your belt. If you have experience with Daikin & Mitsubishi AC systems or a background in electrical engineering, that’s a bonus! With at least two years in a similar role, you bring a proactive attitude and a passion for delivering top-notch service.
