Job Title: Cook
Location: Outskirts of Thetford, Norfolk
Salary: £11.94 per hour
Role Overview
We are seeking a Cook to join our team at a beautiful location on the outskirts of Thetford. There are both part-time (20 hours, Monday and Friday) and full-time (40 hours, 5 days per week) opportunities available. Shifts typically run from 8am-2pm, 2pm-8:30pm, or 8am-8:30pm. You will generally have Saturdays off and an additional day during the week.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals to ensure high quality and excellent presentation.
Comply with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations, including maintaining proper documentation.
Ensure all food handling and preparation meets hygiene standards.
Follow the cleaning schedule to maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and appliances. Qualifications & Skills
Previous catering experience is required.
Health and safety training or relevant qualifications.
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and food safety protocols.
Attention to detail, particularly regarding cooking times and temperatures.
Ability to adapt to guest needs and work as part of a team.
Strong initiative, discipline, and passion for delivering great food. Personal Attributes
