Job Description

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAlliance Bankcard Services is looking for a POS Support Technician that is Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) to join our team. This position is responsible for troubleshooting and training for restaurant POS system and peripherals. The technician will also be responsible for installing new software and hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Install software and hardware at client sites;
  • Setup, configure, and test hardware and software components;
  • Provide telephone, remote, and on-site support for clients in order to provide quick resolution to problems;
  • Maintain technical knowledge related to our suite of hardware and software product lines;
  • Provide training to clients regarding software, hardware, and troubleshooting techniques.
Requirements

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office, various Windows and Android operating systems, and networking;
  • Restaurant Experience are required;
  • Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends on-call rotation;
  • Good written and oral skills;
  • Valid Driver License / Valid Auto Insurance;
  • Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check;
  • Must be willing to travel foreign and domestic if necessary;
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while in the office or in the field;
  • Prefer experience in Food & Beverage POS industry;
  • Experience in configuration, installation, training and support of hardware and/or software products.
Language

  • Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and English
