Details:

Onsite position near Rogers, MN
Pay Range: $33+/hr (depending on experience)

• 2024-2025 School Year
• Full time, 37.5 hours/week
• Assignment Dates: 8/26/24-6/6/25
• Middle School and Elementary caseloads available
• Will send over candidate preference of age group
• Multiple openings, will take preference of school site
• 1 or multiple school buildings (mileage can be reimbursed between school sites)
• More details to be discussed during virtual interview process
• Directors ready to begin interviewing ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities and special needs
• Create engaging and effective lesson plans that are tailored to meet the individual needs of each student
• Use a variety of instructional strategies and techniques to promote student learning and success
• Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and families to provide a comprehensive and integrated education program
• Monitor and track student progress, and provide ongoing feedback and support to students and their families
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, attendance, and behavior
• Attend meetings and participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Special Education
• Minnesota Teaching Certification in Special Education
• **Must Have Tier 3 or 4 License to be Considered**
• Experience working with students who have disabilities and special needs
• Knowledge of and experience with IEP development and implementation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other educators, support staff, and families
