Soliant is actively seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher (SPED) for a full-time, contract position in Villa Park, IL, for the 2024/2025 school year. This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive school environment, where you will provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and mitted to helping students reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Provide specialized instruction in various educational settings, ensuring student success.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and parents to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Regularly assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure pliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid Illinois Special Education teaching license.
• Prior experience in a school setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of IEP development and special education laws.
• Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to acmodate diverse learning styles.

State-Specific Requirements:

• Must hold an active Special Education teaching license issued by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).
• Familiarity with Illinois special education guidelines and regulations is essential.
