Special Education Teachers Needed In Laveen, AZ

ProCare Therapy is seeking dedicated and passionate Special Education Teachers to join our team for the 2024-25 school year in Laveen, AZ. As a contracted Special Education Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs. This role requires a commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive educational environment that fosters the growth and development of every student.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Adapt and modify curriculum materials and teaching methods to meet the needs of students.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure effective integration of students into the classroom.
• Assess students' abilities and progress through formal and informal assessments.
• Provide a safe and positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and success.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Validstate teaching certification in Special Education.
• Proven experience working with students with special needs.
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children with diverse learning needs.
