Special Education Teacher - Marlin, PA
ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher for a full-time position in Marlin, PA, for the 2024-25 school year. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educator to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Adapt and modify the general education curriculum to meet the needs of students with disabilities.
• Provide direct and indirect instructional support to students in a positive environment.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, administrators, and other professionals to create effective educational plans.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual learners.
• Use a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, and demonstrations.
• Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by laws, district policies, and administrative regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid Special Education teaching certification in the state
• Experience working with students with a variety of disabilities.
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and support staff.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with various instructional strategies and technologies.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations regarding special education.
• Experience in creating an inclusive classroom environment.
