ProCare Therapy is seeking aSpecial Education Teacherfor a school district in Huntington Beach, CAfor the 2024/2025 school year. The ideal candidate will support students with special needs to help them achieve their educational goals. This dynamic role is a full-time position with benefits provided by ProCare Therapy.

Job Type:

• Full-time, on site special education teacher.
• Teacher will manage a class of 7 students with moderate to severe special needs.
• Students in the class require extensive support.
• Elementary Caseload
• 2024-2025 School Year: Start ASAP
• Teacher will demonstrate proficiency in educating students with special needs through use of evidence based practices.
• Teacher will support emotional needs of students.

Qualifications:

• Requires a Bachelors degree in Special Education OR degree specific to teaching students with special needs
• Must have a current Special Education (SPED) certification in the state of California.
• Previous experience in schools in preferred but NOT required.
• Experience with severe disabilities is preferred.
