Job Summary*

We are seeking a skilled, reliable general laborer to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting supervisors by purchasing requested material/equipment, Maintaining Inventory Control, operating machinery (such as Forklift), On-site or in-house servicing, repair and/or installation of company product(s). This job may include field support and installation, and is not limited to electrical, data, and fiber optic cable installation; conduit and pull box installation; and pole and foundation installation., as well as following all site health and safety regulations,

The General laborer will assist supervisors and higher level technicians to perform the following essential duties and responsibilities:

Follow supervisor directions for all tasks

• Assisting Fleet Manager with rental equipment and Vehicles for Projects.
• Maintaining a clean and organized facility.
• Inventory Control .
• Sorting and distributing incoming / outgoing logistics.
• Tests devices to ensure they work correctly.
• Prepares logs to keep track of warehouse conditions and installation activities.
• Other duties maybe assigned.

Desired Skills*

Entry level mechanical ability

Preferred Skills & Experience*

*
Entry level experience with electronics/computers/networking.

• Entry level knowledge of cabling and wring
• Completed 10 Hour OSHA training
• Other Safety Certifications a plus

Working Conditions and Physical Effort*

*
Requires physical work; lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 50 pounds.

• Working outdoors on and around roadways, under bridges, and in active construction zones.

Education*

*
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

• One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.

Conditions of Employment*

*
High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Basic computer/office skills.
• Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
• Must pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Test
• Must demonstrate eligibility to work in U.S.
• Possession of a valid Florida driver's license is a requirement for this job.
