Job Description: ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2024-25 school year in St. Cloud, MN. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement effective support strategies.
• Monitor and assess students' academic and social progress.
• Provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to engage students and encourage participation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' progress and development.
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
• Strong understanding of IDEA and other relevant special education laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and support staff.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
