Customs Broker

Are you ready for a change of scenery? We currently have a vacancy for a Licensed Customs Broker within the Customs team based in their Brisbane office.

The Licensed Customs Broker is responsible for executing customs entries and monitoring regulatory updates to ensure compliance with the latest regulations in customs applications.

Responsibilities include:

• Billing customers for services rendered.Resolving customer issues, handling and solving incidents such as escalations and disputes in collaboration with customers.

• Maintaining good relationships with Customs authorities and other key stakeholders.
  


• Managing dispatch and delivery processes.

• Classifying items based on provided specifications.

Skills / Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of previous experience in the shipping/international freight forwarding industry in a Licensed Customs Broker role (advantageous).
  


• Solid knowledge of freight forwarding and logistics.
  


• Ability to work independently.
  


• Understanding of origin and destination government requirements.
  


• Adaptable to daily changes due to customer and airline requests.
  


• High level of reliability and attention to detail.
  


• Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
  


• Results-driven with strong communication and administration skills.
