Forklift Drivers wanted in Hallam

Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently hiring experienced forklift driver for one of their clients located in Hallam. Our client is one of the world's largest express transportation companies, providing fast and reliable delivery to more than 220 countries.

Positions are for an immediate start with availability on the afternoon shift starting 2:30pm start, 4-7 hour shifts.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift to load and unload packages and freight in a fast-paced environment


• Ensure accuracy and efficiency in handling shipments according to standards


• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals


• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area

• RF Scanning


• Weighting and measuring consignments


• Loading and unloading of trucks


• Fast paced environment


• Moving goods packed on pallets around a warehouse or storage facility


• Stagging stock


• Pre start checks to complete daily

Requirements:

• Valid LF (forklift) license with demonstrated experience in operating forklifts


• Confident Forklift operator that can operate a counterbalance gas forklift single or double deep

• Confident to reach 4 racks high


• Good communication skills


• Strong awareness to operating with 10 to 15 forklift operators


• Fast paced environment

• Background in logistics, transport, or courier services preferred


• Ability to work PM shifts starting from 2:30 pm, with flexibility in shift times


• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure


• Must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical/drug and alcohol before commencing


• Must pass a site police check before commencing on site
