Safari Manager / Head Guide

Key Responsibilities: Lead and conduct guided safari experiences, providing informative and engaging commentary. Ensure the safety and comfort of guests during all excursions. Manage the training and development of guiding staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork. Collaborate with other lodge departments to ensure seamless guest experiences. Stay updated on wildlife trends and conservation efforts, enhancing the lodges educational offerings. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience as a safari guide, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Relevant qualifications, including FGASA NQF 4 certification (or equivalent) and first aid training. Strong knowledge of wildlife, ecology, and conservation practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for guest engagement. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Valid drivers license and 4x4 driving experience.
