Onboard HR Director: Your life on board: As HR Director on our vessels, you’ll be the Costa culture ambassador, guiding and supporting our Crew with your exceptional people skills. You’ll act in a pivotal role as the primary point of contact for all HR matters ensuring full compliance and adherence to Company standards. Demonstrate your passion: You actively engage in the internal promotion process, playing a key role in recruitment. You enhance the quality of our learning and development activities. You support both evaluators and evaluates during the appraisal process, ensuring transparent communication with Crew Members. You foster collaboration, strengthen the team, and coordinate the Welfare Committee to ensure an exceptional experience. You warmly welcome new seafarers, facilitating their integration. Getting Things Right: You collaborate closely with Ship management during inspections, such as Port State Control. You oversee reporting, pinpointing solutions to streamline HR processes. You supervise the Chief Crew Housekeeping to ensure smooth cabin assignments. Safety First: You assist the captain in fostering a work environment that promotes a successful safety culture. What makes you unique: You hold a bachelor’s degree in human resources, psychology or related field. You bring at least three years of experience in staff management and two years of experience in recruitment. You are familiar with disciplinary actions management. You have a proven track record in investigating, negotiating, and resolving issues. You excel in coaching and counselling. You master English and Italian language (at least C1 level); a B2 level of a third language is preferable. You have previous onboard experience (it is recommendable).
