Job Description
As a Human Resources Assistant I, you will learn and assist with providing support to the Business Support Team. The primary duties will include: staffing the Human Resources front desk and being the first point of contact; learning and assisting while communicating and responding to Human Resource inquiries from employees and various outside entities both in person and over the phone.
In this position, you will learn and assist with maintaining calendars; scheduling meetings and conference rooms; ordering supplies, processing invoices, Verifications of Employment and I-9s; Timekeeping; and assisting on special projects and programs (such as Wellness Programs and Employee Appreciation Day). Additional duties may include assisting with maintaining Human Resources confidential files; purchasing items with a credit card or through requisition via Oracle; assisting with data entry functions; disseminating information; and distributing documents to staff.
This position will provide the opportunity to demonstrate your customer service skills, professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to operate in confidential environments.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience: Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field; or two years of relative administrative support experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS License(s): Valid California Class C Driver's License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment.
