The Front Desk Agent will assist guests with the check-in and check-out processes, issue room keys, and process payments. Responsibilities also include maintaining communication with housekeeping staff to coordinate room availability, answering guest inquiries, and completing paperwork promptly and accurately. The Front Desk Agent must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to stay positive even when faced with challenging situations. Responsibilities:
- Balancing the accounts from day shift
- Managing front desk activity and handling guest check-ins and check-outs
- Ensuring customer satisfaction by scheduling wake-up-calls and other concierge activities according to guest preference
- Handling customer requests and complaints and directing other employees or departments accordingly
- Managing and updating all official documentation pertaining to the role
- Ensuring that all end-of-day activities have been successfully executed by employees in all departments
- Answering calls and queries related to potential bookings
- Monitor the maintain knowledge of hotel operations and activities
- Describe the features and amenities of guest rooms
- Ensure compliance with health and quality standards
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards
- Proficient in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Computer literacy
- Able to resolve issues with a customer-focused orientation
- Able to lift 30 pounds
