About The Role

An Information Communication TechnicianApprenticeprovides support to everyone in the company, helping them to be productive when using technology to do their own jobs, by using tools to problem solve and troubleshoot non-routine problems. ICT technicians configure andmaintainthe systems which provide the infrastructure services to the company when they need it, rectifying issues to ensure the organizations productivity.

As part of your apprenticeship, you will move through several placements across the company from networking and cyber security to virtualisation andtelecommunications.

Entry Requirements

• 5 x GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, including Maths and English
• Applicants must be aged 18 or over, as of 31st August 2025 due to security clearancerequirements
• You must be a British National to apply for a role with us.

Location Reading / Basingstoke area

Start Date Wednesday the 27th of August 2025.

Annual leave will not be granted from 27th August until 3rd October, due to mandatory inductions and the requirement for you to complete as part of your apprenticeship. Any leave approved after this point will depend on the training provider requirements for your apprenticeship and must be agreed in advance.

These roles are governed by Health and Safety at Work Regulations and require all candidates to have an Occupational Health pre-employment medical held at AWE which follows theinitialselection process.All candidates must be willing and able to obtain andmaintainthe necessary security clearance for the role and be willing and able to work in designated areas.
