Gas Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Gas Engineer to work for our well-known client based in Cambridge. The position is permanent role working Monday to Friday 8am 4pm and they are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair gas appliances, including boilers, cookers, and heating systems.

Conduct thorough inspections of gas systems to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

Perform plumbing tasks as required in conjunction with gas installations.

Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for assembly and repairs.

Work as part of a team, as well as alongside other trades such as carpenters, electricians.

Be willing to get stuck in with smaller plumbing works such as tap changes, radiator installs, etc.

Qualifications and Experience:

Gas Safe registration is essential.

Proven experience as a Gas Engineer.

Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations and best practices.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
