Head Chef

Are you looking for a new Head Chef position in the heart of Oxford? Would you like to work for a privately owned hotel with a fantastic kitchen facility?

As Head Chef you will:

• Take control of all functions of the kitchen and 4 members of staff
• Lead and manage the team
• Ensure the service and functions are completed efficiently
• Set staff rotas
• Ensure Health & Safety and Hygiene Management
• Train new staff
• Create seasonal menus
• Deal with stock control & ordering

The Head Chef will have :

• Previous experience as a Head Chef
• A La Carte Menu experience preferred
• Experience creating menu's
• Experience in leading a kitchen team / managing a kitchen
• Knowledge and qualifications in Health and Safety and Food Hygiene
• Experience using fresh ingredients, creativity
• Planning and organisation skills
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Be proactive

You must be able to work various shifts
