Job Description
The Walt Disney World® Resort is searching for talented Maintenance Technicians who are looking to push themselves to the next level in their career with our FOS Team. Our first-class shops put efficiency, productivity, and concern for the safety of our technicians’ front-and-center. As a seasoned technician, you know what it’s like to work in a shop or in the field, but using your skills at Disney is a completely unique experience.
The Attraction Mechanic is more than just a modern-day maintenance worker. The Attraction Mechanic is responsible for keeping our parks and attractions in full repair, so our guests get the full enjoyment of our Parks and Resorts. Our Attraction Mechanics do not just perform preventative maintenance, they respond to trouble tickets within a theme park setting too. They should have experience working on, but not limited to gearbox assemblies, bearing replacement, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, restraint systems, and brake and wheel assemblies.
The pay rate for this role in Florida is $28.45 per hour.

Basic Qualifications :
- 4 years' minimum of relative in-field professional experience as a maintenance mechanic
- Practical experience in repair, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
- Experience working on, but not limited to gearbox assemblies, bearing replacement, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, restraint systems, brake and wheel assemblies
- Ability to interpret schematics and prints
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid FL Driver's license
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices
- Ability to work from elevated platforms and confined spaces
