CREATIVE SALES MANAGER ROLE

THE ROLE

The fashion retail market is highly competitive with the most successful brands being those that are not only proven good value and excellent in quality, but those which are cleverly marketed and strategically focused within todays array of social media and other marketplaces

To build on our success to date we are now looking for someone who can come into our world and creatively refashion our sales ability. Reporting to the CEO, the person will be responsible for increasing our sales, not only via the digital market, but utilising other stores and concessions and opportunities such as seasonal pop up stores for example

Based at our Liverpool office, we would expect a 2 or 3 day on-site presence every week. There is off-site specialist support for the company for collaboration throughout the management and promotion of our fashion products.

THE PERSON

Were looking for someone who is dynamic and creative, but with a sound background of delivery and achievement in sales. Someone who will be able to work well with the senior team but who is also able to take the initiative where appropriate. Someone who believes in the ethos of our brand and can spot opportunities for growth going forward. Someone on whom we can rely to keep the sales office functioning efficiently and effectively. Someone who can match the skills and experience outlined in our person spec.

The salary were offering will commence circa £25k with a bonus / commission to be agreed and payment of any expenses incurred

Key Areas of Delivery (Job Description)

The job will focus on:

Understanding our range and reviewing where and how sales should be targeted

Finding the best advertising media and ensuring our products are promoted

Monitoring sales and on-line activity and producing reports

Building relationships with current and potential suppliers and promoting our brand, generating excitement and willingness for people to want to work with us

Working with our IT team to maximise our brand activity

In the short term, heading up fulfilment of merchandise within our current range so that we can meet the targets for the next seasonal launch

Within the first 6 months, to build to case for ensuring the sustainability and viability of the brand

Key Skills, Competencies and Experience (Person Spec.)

In order to meet the key areas of delivery, the individual will:

Have good communication skills and ability to work as a key member of our team

Have a good knowledge of social media and its potential for our brand

Demonstrate a proven sales record, not necessarily in fashion but in broader retail (but experience of the fashion market would be desirable!)

Be bold and assertive, good at building and maintaining relationships even when the going might get tough

Believe in the background ethos of our brand

Have proven financial management and budgeting skills and experience

Demonstrate sound organisational skills

Be able to work on their own initiative but at the same time to take on board the senior teams views and directions
