Qualification: A CIPD qualification or equivalent occupational experience

The role entails:

● Maintain and strengthen a company-wide people-first culture, ensuring our people feel valued. You will do this by fostering and championing a culture of inclusion, collaboration, community, growth mindset and high performance.

● Be our Cultural Ambassador, ensuring company buy-in to our purpose, vision and values.

● Working with the Managing Director take an active role in developing our employer brand so that we attract the best talent and make our people proud to say they are part of the team.

● Help to develop a growth mindset within the agency, to demonstrate people leadership capabilities.


Strategic people plan

● Work with the Managing Director on the strategic people plan which will support ambitious growth to achieve its long term goals and aspirations, planning, prioritising and owning the projects streams and activities which will bring this plan to life.


Talent attraction, development and retention

● Own and develop our talent attraction, development and retention approach which will fully support our talent requirements as we grow, ensure there are clear development opportunities available for our team and support our people to feel valued and fulfilled.

● Plan to resource effectively in line with our growth plans so that we are proactively ensuring that we have the right skills in the agency at the right time.

● Accountable for the end-to-end recruitment process you will work with the hiring individual/team to set a clear plan and process for each role to be hired.

● You will support and help to lead our performance-driven culture by championing our performance management approach of continuous development.

● Assist in the identification of relevant and appropriate training options to support our people’s development and PDP activities.


Best in class HR service

● Responsible for establishing people focused, best practice HR fundamentals which live and breathe our values.

● Manage all employee relations issues with sensitivity and in a timely manner, ensuring that our people understand where to find our policies and procedures. Our people will feel confident in your knowledge, ability and personal approach when raising sensitive issues.

● Ensure that our internal policies and procedures are fit for purpose and in line with legal requirements, whilst reflecting our values and culture.

● Stay ahead of legal updates and changes, ensuring that we review and update our policies and procedures as required and communicate to our team as appropriate.

● Collate monthly payroll information for the Finance Officer.

● You will chair the H&S task force whose accountability lies in ensuring that we are working within a safe environment and ensures we are legally compliant in our duty of care.

● Salary – £24k based on 22.5 hours per week (£40k equivalent) This could be 3 days or split over 4/5 days depending on your circumstances.
