Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - MedSurg/Telemetry - Cardiac Renal Unit

Shift: Nights / 6:30p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week (will accept 48 upon request), EOH

Length: 13 weeks

Weekend/Holiday : 3 weekends out of every 6 week schedule

Requirements:

• IN /compact license
• Minimum 2 years of strong Cardiac/Tele experience
• Trauma level II experience
• 1 travel assignment
• Skillset: Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation (travelers are required to pass a tele test), recover heart caths (femoral/TR bands), PIV insertion, chest tube/indwelling drain management, drip management (cardiac-cardizem, amio, etc., other-heparin, lasix, protonix, etc.). CBI, detox/CIWA protocol experience, central line care
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• NIHSS
• Recent Epic charting experience

Other Details:

• First to float within skillset
• Patient Population: Post cardiac procedure (heart cath, ablation, pacemaker), A-fib RVR, ESRD, CHF, sepsis, tracheostomies, nephrostomy tubes/CBI/renal biopsy, behavioral health/detox.
• Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): 34 beds. Ratio: Days 1:4-5; NOCs 1:6-7; CN takes a patient assignment.
• Scrub Colors: Navy blue scrubs
• Covid-19 Vaccine Not Required -- Subject to change
• No local candidates (40 mile radius rule)
