What began as week-long getaways in Lazio, Italy, has since evolved into a diverse portfolio of specialised activity holidays. Purpose
The role of a Senior Travel Consultant is to sell to our existing Amici customers and to build upon our growing client base. Your primary responsibility will be to assist our clients in planning, booking, and coordinating their next Flavours Holiday experience, all while embodying our core values of passion, inspiration, and authenticity.
Success in this role will be driven by your ability to build strong relationships with customers as you work towards achieving KPIs and incentive targets.
In addition, you will oversee a small sales team, conducting regular 1:1 meetings, providing daily support on targets, and ensuring accurate reporting. Your leadership will be key to driving both individual and team performance.
Responsibilities
- Promote and sell a wide range of Flavours Holidays to both new and returning clients.
- Take ownership of your sales pipeline, consistently expanding and nurturing it.
- Leverage your in-depth destination expertise to tailor recommendations to each customer's unique needs.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing Amici clients, enhancing customer loyalty.
- Quickly learn and apply product knowledge to provide expert guidance.
- Lead and manage a small team, *minimum of two years of management experience*
- Monitor and report on sales performance to ensure targets are met and exceeded.
Required Skills
- Exceptional communication, administrative, and numerical abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of the travel industry and destinations.
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
- A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Highly motivated, ambitious, and adept at efficient organisation.
- Proven track record of working towards and achieving sales targets and KPIs (ideally 3+ years).
- Strong computer proficiency with the ability to quickly learn new systems, including G Suite.
- A true passion for travel and a desire to share that enthusiasm with others.
